I'm Alexa. Nothing inspires me more than supporting women who are on the healing path. I seek to be a humble compass and guide for women to discover what their bodies are trying to communicate and facilitate the changes needed for their bodies to heal themselves. My goal is to create a judgement free sanctuary for women to slow down, release, and heal.
About Alexa Ferguson, L.Ac, Dipl.OM, AOBTA-CP
I completed a four year clinical master’s degree in acupuncture with a Chinese herbal medicine specialization from AOMA Graduation School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX. I am accredited by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board.
After experiencing chronic health issues since early childhood and experiencing a worsening of symptoms in my early 20’s, I began to look outside of the western medicine approach. For years I held on to the dream of feeling ease within my body and explored endless avenues to achieve this dream. I found Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at a particular low point on my healing path and immediately became fascinated by the ancient wisdom of this holistic approach to medicine. I finally felt listened to and began to trust my body’s symptoms as important signals to interpret. Through my own healing journey, I developed a deep respect for the interconnection of emotional, physical and spiritual wellness.
My goal is to create a judgement free sanctuary for women to slow down, release, and heal. To book with me, head to the appointments page.
